Hi Miss Jones, yes I am over the moon with the completion of the course, Been a week now with no studying and I am missing it. Been looking into enroling in Project Managment in the new year, my late grandfather always told me, ”The day you stop learning is the day you are dead” such true words. So my theory is this; Keep learning and you will live longer, hehehe.
Well I suppose I do need time to relax, it was a hard year, with being in hospital with my back and everything going on, but well worth it in the end.
Thanks for the lovely messages of encouragment and support throughout the past year, i won’t be leaving the site and will be posting messages at regular intervals.

Well thats me all finished, no more assignments to do and all papers marked, I guess I have completed the course, it has been hard work but I have loved every minute of it. Just starting? don’t give up, with a bit of dedication and hard work you too can pass, just remember you are not the only one out there. Don’t be too proud to ask for help. Just mail us, we won’t give you the answers but we can point you in the right direction.

Well people, Thats me finished, submitted the last papers and PASSED the course, I am now the proud owner of an Electronics Engineering Diploma. it has been a hard year but so worth it. To all of you out there just starting, stick at it, You can all pass.
Now what to do with my spare time? maybe another course, Project Managment? Maybe? -
Friday again!!!!!! and the sun is shining, lets get outside, light a fire and enjoy the BBQ, Enjoy the weather.

Hi Miss Jones, Yes the smile is massive, although still got another two hard weeks ahead of me. Off on holiday soon to Jersey and plan on getting the finial assignment in for marking before I go. So for the next two weeks is burning up the spare hours as well as the others that arn’t, hehehe. I seems strange that it has been a year, a hard year in some ways, Married, China for work four times, Hospital with a broken back, Operations, and study. All good fun and it has made me a better person for it. In life take nothing for granted, you need to work to get it.

I was in the same position last year as I did my IDM Digital Marketing Certificate – it was a lot of work and a lot of juggling but such an enormous sense of achievement. Hi Miss Jones, two more to go and all done, working hard at it as I want to keep up the grades I have so far got for all my writen assignments. Sort of looking forward to the end, but also sad as I will miss the studying. maybe I will do another course possibly in embedded software and code writing, will see.

Well thank you, I did not realise I was an insperation, hehehe. Physio is going so well in the recovery and although stronger every day, acheing a lot, using muscles not used for ages.
I take it that you are from or in Scotland (wee note) as it happens I was born there, abducted as a child and taken to Africa as a child slave, hehehe, No my folks moved from Newarthill to Africa when I was just five. Anyway let me get on with some work, have a fab day, and yes I will stay in touch.

Yes it is good to be back on line again. The studying is going well with only three more assignments to complete and four months to do so. I won’t be writing any exams, as I am doing the course for knowlege and not certificates. Having been and engineer (Mechanical) for the last 25 years the interviews I go to are experianced based and not looking at certificates. So I am happy with the knowlege I have gained in Electronics to help me with my work and home projects. It has been a difficult year as I seriously damaged my spine last year and endured 7 months of agony until the NHS got around to operating to remove a disc, So the studies were fun especially when I was on the maximum dosage of strong pain killers. It slowed me down a bit as I was reading everything three times, hehehe but all is well now and I am again getting upto full steam. If I need any assistance I will definatly contact you.

Its great to hear from you and I’m so pleased that you are now feeling much better.You have been through the mill – but what an inspiration you are. Sometimes just balancing life and study is hard – I did my IDM Certificate in Digital Marketing last year, and I was spinning plates at times, but being in a lot of pain, and having to deal with a major operation….wow, nobody can have any excuses now! ha,ha. (Your comment about the strong painkillers made me giggle too). I think what you have achieved is brilliant and I take my hat off to you! I also know who to call to help with any electrics issues I might have in my cottage!! ha,ha. So glad to hear that everything is going so well for you now, just as it should be.

Starting to love the new site, it was a shock when I logged on yesterday to find it all changed, my groups and friends list missing, but heyho we are back in action. Great site, just wish more students in my course would join.
